Our Process

Five Phases. One Accountable Team.

From the first site analysis to the day charging revenue flows, Wedson Energy owns every step. No handoffs to third parties. No gaps in accountability.

01

Site Selection

4–8 weeks

Every Wedson Energy project begins with data. Our analysts evaluate hundreds of potential locations against a rigorous set of criteria before a single dollar is committed.

  • Traffic volume and EV adoption data by corridor
  • Grid capacity and utility interconnection feasibility
  • Zoning, land use, and permitting pre-screening
  • Competitive landscape and demand modeling
  • Landowner outreach and lease feasibility
02

Engineering & Design

6–10 weeks

Once a site is approved, our in-house engineering team designs the full electrical and civil infrastructure — from utility interconnection to equipment layout.

  • Electrical load calculations and single-line diagrams
  • Civil site plan and grading design
  • Equipment selection and layout optimization
  • Utility interconnection application and coordination
  • Construction document package preparation
03

Permitting

8–16 weeks

Permitting is where most EV charging projects stall. Our dedicated liaisons manage every application, inspection, and approval — so nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Building and electrical permit applications
  • Utility interconnection agreement execution
  • Environmental and zoning compliance review
  • ADA and fire code coordination
  • Inspection scheduling and sign-off management
04

Construction

4–8 weeks

Our vetted contractor network executes the build to spec, on schedule. Wedson Energy provides full project oversight from groundbreaking to commissioning.

  • Site preparation and civil work
  • Electrical conduit, wiring, and panel installation
  • Charging equipment mounting and commissioning
  • Network connectivity and payment system setup
  • Final inspections and utility energization
05

Operations

Ongoing

After launch, Wedson Energy manages the site indefinitely. Investors receive regular reporting. Landowners receive lease payments. We handle everything else.

  • 24/7 remote monitoring and uptime management
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Revenue collection and reconciliation
  • Quarterly investor reporting
  • Lease payment processing to landowners
